Semele was one of the many conquests of that rascal Zeus, but her family was kind of pushy when she became pregnant with a demigod, and asked to meet the father in his full glory. Moral: Never ask a god to appear in his full glory; the SAN rolls are absurdly high and the most likely result is faces melting.
